Felhampton is a small hamlet within the Parish of Wistanstow located between the pretty market towns of Church Stretton and Ludlow, both of which offer an eclectic range of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The closest railway stations are located at Church Stretton and Craven Arms which are on the main Cardiff to Manchester line. The bustling county town of Shrewsbury is also easily accessible, offering a wonderful cafe culture and infectious vibrancy, and all the amenities one would expect. Like Ludlow, Shrewsbury holds a number of festivals throughout the year including music events, flower show and food fairs which are held at the pretty Quarry Park.

The A49 gives access South to Ludlow & Hereford and North to Church Stretton and Shrewsbury. The A5 links to the M54 and national motorway network for commuting to Midland business centre and the M6, M5 and M40. The area is well served by excellent schools in both the state and private sectors including a well-considered primary school in Church Preen, comprehensive schools in Much Wenlock and Church Stretton and a range of private schools in Shrewsbury including Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury High andPrestfelde Preparatory.
