Location

Open map

Broadstairs is fast becoming one of the most desirable places to live in the county and the town centre is a mere 10 minute walk from the site.

Lining the Victorian streets and alleyways you will stumble across fishermen’s cottages, clifftop walks and independent boutiques. The town happened to be Charles Dickens’ favourite holiday spot and his legacy includes the annual Dickens Festival, founded in 1937 and the Dickens House Museum, which celebrates his long connection with Broadstairs.

Dumpton Park Train Station is less than a mile from the site and both this and Broadstairs station have excellent transport links. London is just over 1hr 30m by train and Ashford International a mere 45 minutes.

Broadstairs is a foodie’s paradise with the very best in local produce including locally caught fish and seafood on the door step.  It has a mix of first class restaurants, cafes, pubs & micro breweries.

There is a vast array of good schools within the area including Salmestone Primary and Ramsgate Holy Trinity School (Broadstairs), Upton Junior School, Charles Dickens School and Dane Court Grammar.  Independent and boarding options include Kent College, Canterbury and King’s School, Canterbury, both a short train ride away, St Lawrence College, Ramsgate and Wellesley Haddon Dene School, Broadstairs.
